Scrive through Canon IMS: e-signatures at every eIDAS level with identity verification, from a European Qualified Trust Service Provider.
Scrive, based in Stockholm since 2010, is a Qualified Trust Service Provider on the EU Trusted List. Its eSign platform covers all three eIDAS signature levels, from a simple internal approval to a qualified electronic signature with the same legal standing as a handwritten one, and builds identity verification with national eIDs into the signing flow.
Canon organises information management in four movements: Capture, Content, Communicate and Process. Scrive works in the Process layer: signing becomes a controlled step inside the workflow, with the signed document and its evidence flowing straight back into your content platform.
The signature is part of the process, not a detour outside it.
Printing, signing and scanning slows agreements down and loses track of versions. Scrive e-Signature replaces those steps with a controlled digital process that reduces delays, improves traceability and strengthens governance, for external agreements and internal approvals alike.
The same platform handles a routine approval, an advanced signature and a qualified electronic signature. As a Qualified Trust Service Provider, Scrive issues qualified certificates itself, using short-lived certificates linked to national eIDs such as Swedish BankID, and also offers QES through partners such as Swisscom.
SEE IT IN ACTION
See how a contract goes out for a qualified signature and comes back into your document system with its evidence package, with a Canon IMS consultant.
Scrive supports national eIDs natively, including the Nordic BankIDs and Danish MitID, so the signerās identity is verified as part of the signing step. Each signature produces a unique evidence package that proves the authenticity and integrity of the document.
IRIS IMS and IRIS NL integrate Scrive into existing document management and automation environments, including iManage, so a document goes out for signature and returns to the right file without manual handling.
Scrive is GDPR-compliant with data protection by design. For organisations with strict sovereignty requirements, its Extended Compliance option hosts core services exclusively with European-owned, European-located providers.
Faster agreements: Documents are signed in minutes instead of days.
Legal certainty: Qualified signatures carry the same legal weight as handwritten ones across the EU.
Verified identity: National eIDs confirm who signed, with an evidence package for every signature.
Integrated workflow: Signing becomes a step inside your document and process landscape.
Canon IMS takes responsibility for your Scrive environment from first analysis to daily operation: advice, implementation, support and managed services under one contract with agreed service levels.
Advice and consultancy: We look at which documents need which signature level and where signing fits in your processes, and tell you honestly whether Scrive fits.
Implementation and migration: We design your workflows, integrate Scrive with your core systems and go live in phases.
Support and maintenance under SLA: Support, maintenance and upgrades with agreed response and resolution times.
Managed services: We operate and monitor Scrive for you, on-premises, in the cloud or hybrid.
Scrive is our choice whenever a signature must be legally robust under eIDAS, especially qualified, and integrated into document management or workflow. For contract lifecycle management from draft to obligations, we combine signing with Therefore and contract management.
We propose what fits your process, not what we happen to sell.
IRIS IMS and IRIS NL, Canon IMS competence centres, integrate Scrive into existing document management and automation environments such as iManage. Advice, integration, support under an SLA and optional managed services come under one contract.
Yes. Scrive is a Qualified Trust Service Provider under eIDAS and is listed on the EU Trusted List, which allows it to issue qualified certificates, signatures and seals.
A qualified electronic signature (QES) is backed by a qualified certificate from an accredited provider and requires strong identity verification; it has the same legal standing as a handwritten signature throughout the EU, which an advanced signature does not.
Scrive supports national eIDs such as Swedish and Norwegian BankID and Danish MitID, and offers qualified signatures through its own QTSP service and partners such as Swisscom.
Scrive is GDPR-compliant and based in Sweden. Its Extended Compliance option hosts core services exclusively with European-owned, European-located providers.
Yes. IRIS has built an integration between iManage and Scrive, so documents can be sent for signature and filed back without manual steps.
