Practice
Process automation from Canon IMS: workflows, integration, RPA and AI agents orchestrated in one governed Process layer, under one contract.
Most processes are quick while someone is working on them and slow in between. A request waits in an inbox, moves to a colleague who is on holiday, then comes back because a field was missing. Nobody is idle, nothing is obviously broken, yet throughput is measured in weeks. The delay lives in the gaps, and the tools that close them are converging into one connected Process layer, increasingly driven by AI agents that act across systems.
Canon organises information management in four movements: Capture, Content, Communicate and Process. This practice delivers the Process layer, the governable link between thinking and doing. It connects the other three with your systems of record, so automation and AI agents can act across systems while every step stays controlled and auditable.

Routing, approvals, reminders and escalation on top of your existing applications. People keep working in the tools they know, and the process stops depending on someone remembering to forward an email.
Some systems have no sensible way in. For those we automate the interaction itself, so an ageing application stops being the reason a process cannot move.
Routing, approvals, reminders and escalation with a visible status per case.
Automating steps in systems that offer no integration.
Handling work that does not follow a straight line, with a full history per case.
Connectors and MCP connections between line of business applications, storage, communication and the AI agents that act across them.
From the moment a request enters a process, on whatever channel, to the day it is closed and archived, without a person having to chase the handover in between.
The situations this practice is most often brought in for. Each one is a full engagement in its own right.

Process automation is not one product but a set of platforms we combine depending on your process, your systems and your compliance requirements. uniFLOW sysHUB, a Canon product, and Workato act as the orchestration engines that tie them together.
Automate, monitor, manage and take control of your business-critical document processes and information flows.

The consultants who design your process are the ones who run it afterwards. Behind them sit competence centres with deep knowledge of the platforms this practice is built on, so a technical question does not turn into a ticket that travels.
We work with established technology, tell you which platform we propose and why, and deliver advice, implementation, support and managed services under one contract with agreed service levels.
With the process your own people name first when asked what wastes their time. It is almost always the right answer, and it buys goodwill for the next one.
Canon’s way of organising information management in four movements: Capture, Content, Communicate and Process. Process automation is the layer that connects the other three with systems of record such as SAP and ERP, with uniFLOW sysHUB and Workato as orchestration engines, so AI and automation can act across systems under control.
It removes steps, not usually people. What changes is that staff stop doing the retyping and the chasing, which is rarely the part they want to keep.
Flows are configured rather than coded wherever possible, so your own team can adjust them. Where code is needed, you get the source.
Throughput time and volume per step are visible from the first day it runs, including the baseline we measured before.
Through MCP (Model Context Protocol). Workato’s Enterprise MCP and the MCP connection Canon IMS provides on uniFLOW sysHUB give AI agents governed access to the business systems this practice already connects, through the same permissions, rules and audit trail as everything else, rather than a separate, harder-to-audit path in.
It is part of the platform choice rather than a layer added afterwards. Banqup covers the mandatory e-invoicing formats for the 2026-2028 EU timeline, Scrive is a European Qualified Trust Service Provider for eIDAS signatures, and Workato adds role-based access, your own encryption keys and EU data residency that extends to its AI processing. Which platform we propose depends on what your process needs to comply with.
Capture what arrives, understand what it says, and hand it to the system that needs it, with no rekeying, no queue of documents waiting for someone to read them.
One place where documents live, with rules that hold without anyone having to remember them.
Customer communication designed, orchestrated and measured as part of the customer journey.
Name the process that frustrates your team the most. We will follow it end to end and report where the waiting actually happens.
