OpenText Content Management through Canon IMS: enterprise content management inside SAP, Microsoft 365 and Salesforce, with Content Aviator AI.
OpenText Content Management, also known as Extended ECM and built on OpenText Content Server, governs the information lifecycle by integrating directly with leading enterprise applications such as SAP, Microsoft 365, Salesforce and SAP SuccessFactors. People work with documents in the context of the business process, while records management and compliance run in the background.
Canon organises information management in four movements: Capture, Content, Communicate and Process. OpenText Content Management is the Content layer for organisations centred on SAP and Microsoft 365: one governed repository, surfaced inside the applications where the work happens.
One governed home for content, connected to capture on the way in and to processes on the way out.
Contracts, invoices, project files and HR records are linked to the SAP, Salesforce or SuccessFactors object they belong to. People find and use documents where they already work, instead of searching a separate system.
Content Server, formerly Livelink, delivers robust records management that supports compliance with legislative, regulatory and audit requirements, including public-sector recordkeeping.
SEE IT IN ACTION
See how documents appear inside an SAP or Microsoft 365 process and how Content Aviator answers questions about them, with a Canon IMS consultant.
Content Aviator, the AI assistant inside OpenText Content Management, answers questions and surfaces key facts from governed content. Since release CE 26.1 it is also available from Microsoft Copilot, can be deployed off-cloud, and customer data is not used to train its models.
Real-time co-authoring in Microsoft Office desktop and integration with Teams let people collaborate on documents while OpenText keeps them governed and filed in the right place.
OpenText supports deployment on-premises and in private, public and sovereign cloud environments, so organisations can match content management to their data residency and security requirements.
In context: Documents linked to the business objects they belong to.
Compliant: Records management and retention at enterprise scale.
AI-ready: Content Aviator on governed content, including via Copilot.
Flexible deployment: On-premises, private, public or sovereign cloud.
Canon IMS takes responsibility for your OpenText Content Management environment from first analysis to daily operation: advice, implementation, support and managed services under one contract with agreed service levels.
Advice and consultancy: We look at your SAP, Microsoft 365 and CRM landscape and your compliance requirements, and tell you honestly whether OpenText Content Management fits.
Implementation and migration: We design your workflows, integrate OpenText Content Management with your core systems and go live in phases.
Support and maintenance under SLA: Support, maintenance and upgrades with agreed response and resolution times.
Managed services: We operate and monitor OpenText Content Management for you, on-premises, in the cloud or hybrid.
OpenText Content Management is our choice for large organisations centred on SAP, Microsoft 365 or Salesforce that need content governed inside those applications at enterprise scale. Where a lighter, faster-to-deploy platform is enough, Therefore or Hyland OnBase may fit better.
We propose what fits your process, not what we happen to sell.
Nokavision, a Canon IMS competence centre, is an OpenText Platinum Partner. Advice, implementation, support under an SLA and optional managed services come under one contract.
