Compart DocBridge® Suite through Canon IMS: create, process, check and output documents of any format, type and size for print and digital channels.
Compart DocBridge® Suite covers the whole document and output chain: receiving, creating, converting, checking and sending documents of any type on every physical and digital channel.
At its core is the DocBridge® Communication Suite for personalised omnichannel communication, complemented by Mill Plus for document processing, Pilot for automated delivery and Delta for automated checking.
Within Canon’s CCX approach, that matters: the experience depends on whether a message arrives correctly, on time and in the right channel. More than 1,500 customers in over 50 countries use DocBridge.
Each template is created once in HTML5 and delivered to the channel the customer prefers: letter, email, SMS, web or WhatsApp, with a real-time preview per channel.
The same platform runs batch and transactional production alongside interactive correspondence, where guided forms and business rules keep every personalised letter within the approved framework.
Templates are built with drag and drop and a live preview that applies every business rule, with an AI assistant to help. The Spring 2026 release adds a Communication Designer role, so business teams work independently within IT’s guardrails, with versioning, role-based access and approvals.

DocBridge Communication Suite is built on a cloud-first microservice architecture. It deploys to Kubernetes or OpenShift with Helm charts, on AWS, Azure, a private cloud or on-premises. Canon IMS implements it in your environment or runs it for you as a managed service.
Replacing an older composition tool usually stalls on template conversion. Compart uses AI to generate, analyse and migrate templates and resources from legacy CCM systems, which shortens the conversion work considerably and lets a migration run in manageable waves.
Because DocBridge has its roots in document conversion and processing, existing print streams and formats can keep flowing during the transition. Production continues on the old platform until each communication type has been rebuilt, tested and signed off.
DocBridge® Delta compares documents automatically, visually at pixel level, at text level and structurally, and shows exactly what changed, across the same or different formats.
Variable areas can be masked and tolerances set, and Delta runs interactively or fully automated, ideal for regression testing whenever a template, data source or software version changes. Version 4.0 adds a web-based interface.
Compart is a European software company, headquartered in Böblingen, Germany, so the vendor behind your platform is subject to European law. DocBridge runs on-premises or in the cloud you choose, and Canon IMS supports it from within Europe.

It can run interactively or fully automated, which makes it well suited to regression testing when templates, data or software versions change.
DocBridge can create accessible PDF/UA documents through an intuitive interface with real-time preview, and convert large volumes of existing documents to PDF/UA automatically, in batch or on demand. Advanced tagging rules handle dynamic content and complex tables, going beyond basic compliance to a correct reading order and meaningful image descriptions.
Yes. Compart is headquartered in Böblingen, Germany. Because DocBridge runs on-premises, in your private cloud or with a cloud provider of your choice, customer data and the documents generated from it stay within the infrastructure you control, including entirely within the EU.
Yes. DocBridge Communication Suite connects through a secure RESTful integration gateway, message queues and Kafka topics, and works with ecosystem platforms such as Salesforce, Twilio and Camunda. Monitoring data can also be passed to SIEM tools.
