Process Automation
Banqup through Canon IMS: send and receive e-invoices via Peppol and other formats, ready for the Belgian, French and German mandates and EU ViDA.
European e-invoicing rules are becoming mandatory in a short window: Belgium from 1 January 2026, France from 2026, Germany from 2027 and the EU-wide ViDA rules from 2028. Banqup, the platform from Banqup Group (formerly Unifiedpost), handles the formats and delivery networks, including Peppol, so organisations meet each deadline without building the compliance layer themselves.
Canon organises information management in four movements: Capture, Content, Communicate and Process. Banqup works in the Process layer: it connects your finance and ERP systems to customers, suppliers and tax authorities through compliant e-invoicing networks.
One connection for sending and receiving, whatever format each counterparty requires.
Since 1 January 2026, VAT-registered companies established in Belgium must send and receive structured e-invoices for domestic B2B transactions. Peppol is the default network, with EDI allowed by mutual agreement, and Belgium plans near real-time e-reporting from January 2028.
Using separate providers for sending and receiving through Peppol often leads to inefficiency. Banqup is an accredited Peppol Access Point that handles both directions, chooses the right network and format per recipient and validates invoices before they go out.
SEE IT IN ACTION

Automated XML and EDI integration links Banqup to your existing finance and ERP systems, so invoices flow in and out without retyping, and incoming e-invoices arrive as structured data ready for approval.
Beyond Belgium, Banqup supports the requirements of other markets, including France and Germany, and the EU VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA) rules from 2028, so one platform covers the mandates an international organisation faces.
Legally compliant e-archiving is part of the same implementation, so invoices are retained for the required periods, such as the minimum of seven years for Belgian public-sector invoicing, within the applicable trust frameworks.
Compliant by default: Formats, networks and validation handled per country and recipient.
One platform, two directions: Send and receive e-invoices through a single Peppol Access Point.
ERP integration: XML and EDI integration with existing finance systems.
Future-proof: Ready for e-reporting and the EU ViDA rules from 2028.
Canon IMS takes responsibility for your Banqup environment from first analysis to daily operation: advice, implementation, support and managed services under one contract with agreed service levels.
Advice and consultancy: We check which mandates apply to you, how invoices flow today and what your ERP supports, and tell you honestly whether Banqup fits.
Implementation and migration: We design your workflows, integrate Banqup with your core systems and go live in phases.
Support and maintenance under SLA: Support, maintenance and upgrades with agreed response and resolution times.
Managed services: We operate and monitor Banqup for you, on-premises, in the cloud or hybrid.
Banqup is the platform behind eBilling in our Process Automation practice, our choice for organisations that must comply with e-invoicing mandates in Belgium and other EU countries. For processing incoming paper and PDF invoices that are not yet electronic, we combine it with invoice processing.
We propose what fits your process, not what we happen to sell.
Canon IMS combines Banqup with ERP integration, invoice processing and support under an SLA, under one contract, so e-invoicing fits into your wider finance process instead of becoming a separate island.
