Customer Communications Experience (CCX)
Make every customer document accessible by default, in line with the European Accessibility Act, and convert existing documents at scale.
Statements, policies and letters are often produced as PDFs that screen readers cannot interpret, excluding customers with visual impairments.
The European Accessibility Act applies since June 2025 and requires accessible digital services and documents for many sectors, including banking, telecom and e-commerce.
In the Canon Information Orchestration Framework, this solution draws on two practices.
Accessible PDF/UA output generated directly from your communication templates, with correct tags and reading order.
Automated conversion of large volumes of existing documents to accessible formats.
Compart DocBridge to create and convert PDF/UA documents at scale, and Quadient Inspire with Inspire Adapt to check and correct communications after composition.
We usually start with one high-volume document type, such as statements or policy documents, and make it accessible by default.
Existing archives are then converted in batch, with validation against accessibility standards.
Which platform we propose depends on your process and systems. These are the ones we deploy most often here, delivered by Canon IMS under one contract.
Accessibility is part of the Customer Communications Experience practice of Canon IMS, Quadient Partner of the Year 2023, 2024 and 2025.
It applies since 28 June 2025 to many products and services, including banking, telecom, transport and e-commerce. We recommend checking your obligations with your legal advisers.
PDF/UA is the ISO standard for universally accessible PDF documents, with tags and reading order that assistive technologies can interpret.
Yes. Compart DocBridge converts large volumes of existing documents to PDF/UA automatically, in batch or on demand.
Tell us which process feels the most exposed right now. We will tell you where the pressure actually reaches, and where it does not.
